You can get a v<\/strong><\/span>eteran designation on your driver licenses<\/b> or ID card. In <\/span>Washington<\/strong>, it is free if you are only changing <\/span>your veterans status. In <\/span>Idaho<\/b>, it is free at renewal or a $15 change fee any other time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bring\u00a0<\/span>your\u00a0DD Form 214 that shows \u201chonorable\u201d or \u201cgeneral under honorable conditions\u201d\u00a0<\/span>status\u00a0to a\u00a0<\/span>driver licensing office. <\/span><\/p>\n

Having this designation on your license will allow you prove your veteran status without having to carry around a DD 214. There are a lot of great veteran discounts out there!<\/span><\/p>\n
