<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Spokane County Regional Veterans Service Center<\/b><\/p>\n Spokane County Regional Veteran Services <\/span>is responsible for providing emergency financial services to indigent veterans, widows and their families. Funding for these programs are mandated by law and comes from a small portion of each county’s property tax revenues.<\/span><\/p>\n Emergency relief assistance<\/b> is provided in voucher form to a specific vendor for the following emergency related needs: food and hygiene, rent (facing eviction), burial assistance, work clothing (limited availability), transportation, utilities (facing shut-off), training assistance and barriers to employment. <\/span><\/p>\n Other Services Available<\/b><\/p>\n In partnership with the <\/span>Washington Department of Veteran Affairs<\/span> (WDVA), there are<\/span> four (4) Veteran Service Officers (VSO\u2019s)<\/b> and staff available to help you enroll in the VA System, answer questions, file claims, and signup for Veteran Services and Benefits. <\/span><\/p>\n Service officers are knowledgeable, skilled, and have relationships with area partners to work together in forming comprehensive and lasting solutions for clients. <\/span><\/p>\n Spokane County Regional Veterans Service Center (and the WDVA) recently moved to a new facility at <\/span>1117 N.
