Hey Veterans,
Did you Know?
Veteran Designation Available for Idaho and Washington State Driver’s Licenses
You can get a veteran designation on your driver licenses or ID card. In Washington, it is free if you are only changing your veterans status. In Idaho, it is free at renewal or a $15 change fee any other time.
Bring your DD Form 214 that shows “honorable” or “general under honorable conditions” status to a driver licensing office.
Having this designation on your license will allow you prove your veteran status without having to carry around a DD 214. There are a lot of great veteran discounts out there!
